Journalism, education, health, disability inclusion, climate, and livelihoods. Each card stays inside what a Press Club Radhan paper actually records.
Journalism
The press club
Journalists of the club appear as the organisers: speaking at the peace seminar, setting up handwashing points, and arranging relief. The 2022 medical-camp note says the club’s role goes beyond reporting public concerns.
The 2010 quiz was held in the library hall of Government Higher Secondary School Radhan. The 2024 plantation plan places most of the 500 saplings in government schools in and around Radhan.
A hepatitis programme in 2010, a flood medical camp on 5 February 2011, a handwashing drive on 19 March 2020, and a free camp on 20 January 2022 where Dr Muhammad Khan Lakhair saw 225 patients.
The activity file does not describe a separate disability programme. What it does record is access: women, children, and older people at the medical camps, and the 16 January 2011 seminar on living together across religious and social lines.
On 11 July 2024 the club launched a self-funded plantation campaign to shade schools, reduce extreme heat, and teach students to water and protect saplings. Species named in the plan include Neem, Talhi, and Koono.
From 1 September to 31 October 2022, volunteers served cooked meals twice a day to 1,089 people from 553 families in 10 camps. In April 2020 the club brought 500 chairs, shade, and cold water for women at an Ehsaas payment centre.
